Major Richard Star Act has momentum

100% will never pass. Its purpose is to buy votes from veterans year after year for the sponsors. With absolutely zero intent of passing. Go count the hundreds of billions we recently spent on Ukraine, Israel and Argentina. The U.S. pays Ukraine military pensions! Congress is currently...

Major Richard Star Act has momentum

I wonder if they subtract current crsc that will no longer be received and saved when adding MRSA addition to the budget. Plus I’m sure if you have to do something to get it 10% won’t bother or won’t know.

Does Ch61 retirement pay ever change?

I haven’t really thought of it until the Richard star act and the possibility of collecting both. But I did claim an item that I was then given 60% alone for but also crsc. Interesting getting the crsc recognized but not retired pay. Also not thinking of connecting the two until reading about...

Does Ch61 retirement pay ever change?

If you leave service at say 40% ch61 retirement calculated) and you had an item initially denied that the VA then granted you a total of say 100% does your retired pay calculation ever change? Thanks

Anyone know the time to receive a FOIA for c file

I submitted an online request. I have seen 12 weeks of emailed. But I have also seen it take about 9 months. Not sure if they changed anything with the email request recently. If anyone filed one recently that has any input. It does show as a claim in my VA app. Also is the FOIA the only...

ASTHMA just approved for gulf war presumptive.

yes it should be approved immediately with back pay as Iraq is part of the gulf war presumptives. Mine was from Afghanistan, Oman. I was originally denied in 2021 and receiving back pay from my VA application/approval to day of Dec 2019.

    Request for CRSC Calculation

Hi, so after calling dfas because I could not log on to my pay to confirm my gross pay. I was told that since I am not receiving any pay due to the va offset I cannot access mypay? The lady on the phone told me my gross pay was $1879, which is what’s on my annual statement. That is at 40%...

Left active duty and rated 100% VA. Now in the NG and was asked if I want to MEDBOARD… unsure of the benefits

I thought the DOD accepted the VA rating as the VA is the one doing the exam. If you are already rated 100% by the VA meeting the 30% minimum should be easy. One question that needs to be asked is, since you had a break in service and or entered a new service contract after active duty...

I get it. But he has a lot of time left and they will likely force a meb if it effects anything job wise or even PT. I would pull off the bandage fast. With 100% va I don’t know how you would get less than 30%. I’m actually quite shocked he was medically qualified to enlist.

Wouldn’t you be drilling for free on the weekends and annual training? They took back all my VA pay for any active duty preformed as I was getting VA pay. Can’t double dip. If you are non deployable they can force the MEB.

corticosteroids for the 60%. I pass the PFT with flying colors but have some type of environmentally induced asthma.

ASTHMA just approved for gulf war presumptive.

About 20 days is all it took for approval from the air force. All I sent was this after being denied last year.
