I apologize for the delay. I was told it was because of time and that my replacement has not arrived yet. I'm not too upset about the PTAD as I can ensure that some key items are properly taken care of.

So I'm still around. My EAS was changed to 29 Apr 20 but I applied for TERA. Once that went through, my EAS reverted back to my original date. I asked for 30 Apr 20 on the TERA requested but that means I would have to start terminal leave (no retirement PTAD) on 10 Mar 20. We'll see.

SO here's another update to my situation. I have been back and forth with my I-I trying to get my TERA in April instead of August. I was able to get endorsements but the I-I added a line saying anything before August would be a detriment to the unit. For reference, there would be a 3-4 month gap...

I think I misread your timeline the first time through. If the VA has already completed its portion (I never got the letter from the VA so that threw me off). I would say that your EAS will between the end of April and mid-May. I signed my letter on Jan 10 and ended up with an EAS of 29 Apr -...

I would say you should have your official results back between May 15 - June 1st. Probably begin terminal leave by June 15th (give or take depending on how much leave you want to sell).

Unfortunately there is not much you can do at this point. It will be approximately 30 days for the VA to assign ratings. You will know when they are done because the case on va.gov will show closed. My biggest fear is that someone won't do the paperwork right and I don't get TERA. Looks like I'm doing the same thing you are though so I feel better.

First - Congratulations! I'm a week behind you (based on the VA completion date - Nov 15) so I hope to have my proposed disposition soon. How did you know when to call MMR4? Did you medically retire or TERA?

There should be a DOD rater if all they do for DOD rating is take only the VA rating for the referred conditions.
