    Applied for SSDI but...

I have thousands of pages of VA medical records to support my claim. I could go in depth but not in an open forum.

    The most screwed up process...

I had the SMC-S while the GERD was still @ 10%. I'd gladly give it all back to make it go away. This is one condition that can literally drop me to the floor on a bad day and trap air between my lower esophageal sphincter and my upper sphincter. I choke on air.

    Applied for SSDI but...

I understand and I appreciate your time and help. This is all new to me. The only reason I applied for SSDI is as a Federal Employee in order to apply for an early Federal Retirement one of the requirements is to apply for SSDI. Can I open a State claim with an open SSDI claim?

Formal board for a non-combat related finding?

Makes sense to me now. Confusing wording. Thanks for taking the time to explain it to me.

    Applied for SSDI but...

I was DX with the PTSD in 2013. Its been spiraling downward and hit rockbottom in June. I worked for the US Government as a civilian employee , not title 10. I would say going on 3+ years is more than enough to qualify as long term. Right now I'm not working.

Formal board for a non-combat related finding?

I was trying to be the least bit descriptive as possible so I didn't trigger someone else who might be reading here. They were all KIA by either VBIED, IED, or gunshot in Afghanistan. Im 100% PTSD 60% GERD 50% UARS 30% Migraines 10% ankle sprain and some 0's

    VA caregiver program

Can you piggyback the VA caregiver program and your local County IHSS program and Aid & Attendance?

Formal board for a non-combat related finding?

Without jacking this thread would this example qualify? I worked out of Country XYZ and often times assisted in the offloading and loading of full and partial human remains from transport aircraft via the flightline to box trucks for temp storage in the Mortuary Affairs freeszers. After temp...

    Applied for SSDI but...

I was technically still on the "books" of the employer. June 9, 2016 I checked myself into the local VA for suicidal and homicidal thoughts. At the time I was at work, but never went back once I had a friend drive me to the ER. Since that date, I was placed on Admin Leave, pending indefinite...

    The most screwed up process...

I have 18 years in the Air Guard. I began my career as a 4NO working in a MASF and later moving to Aero-Medical Evacuation on a C-130. 5 years later I cross trained over to Services and spent some time working Mortuary Affairs and Fatality Search and Recovery. 2013 the VA awarded the...
