Waiting for IPEB Results: Celiac Disease

Welcome to the board, Lizinko. I'm sorry to hear that you're in this process as well, but I can assure you that we are not the only people in the service that are dealing with this. Hang tough and do not give up....I was told twice that they were going to separate me, but I kept trying. On a...

Waiting for IPEB Results: Celiac Disease

Quick update... Just got my formal PEB date today (1 Oct 09) for 1 Dec 09. Seems like they may be a little busy down there...

Waiting for IPEB Results: Celiac Disease

vtrice001, I received my answer from the Informal PEB at Randolph AFB in 57 days. I've seen from a lot of other posts that my reply was pretty quick, and you could expect to wait 3-4 weeks past that time frame, depending on the facts of your case.

Waiting for IPEB Results: Celiac Disease

Jason, Thanks for the input. From reading my past posts I can see that I left my desired outcome a little vague. I decided a while ago to fight for a return-to-duty answer from the formal PEB. I've started getting letters written and doing a lot of research about how I can continue to do my...

This is what I was expecting, after hearing about another active-duty member's experience with the IPEB and celiac. I immediately requested appeal to the formal...

    losing my mind

Anyone please let me know if I am off base with this answer, but I was reading my paperwork that was sent to the IPEB earlier in July and it had an answer to this question. Your commander should not let you PCS or deploy as long as you are in the board process. I don't have the paperwork in...

Waiting for IPEB Results: Celiac Disease

What you said sounds encouraging, I'll admit. The problem that I run into is that my PEBLO makes some assumptions that I don't think the government would feel comfortable backing up. For example, the PEBLO thought that just having 12-13 yrs in the service would somehow get me a medical...

Waiting for IPEB Results: Celiac Disease

Hello everyone, I'd like to say that I have read a lot of posts on this site in the past few months; just haven't posted myself. I think this is a great source of information and support to those of us who know the frustration and confusion inherent to this system. I just wanted to say...
