If you were eligible prior to being flagged you should be able to get your promotion. The hard part is, that your chain of command, which is a primary force in working that out may not be willing to do so because of this. I would speak with legal and a higher s-1 section for clarification.

One thing I have been told about by a soldier who was going through this process a few years ago is that you are eligible on seperation from the army for unemployment for a period of time. Is anyone here aware of that?

I am new to this site and MEB/PEB Processes, but is there a chance that perhaps their cases are more clear cut? Maybe there were other circumstances that made them easier to get done with faster? Less files to be reviewed, ect?
