Everything was closed waiting on a letter from VA. I kind of feel like I'm in limbo.

So I'm retiring and i should get paid by the VA. Do i have to do anything to make that happen or does DFAS take care of all that? I've seen on here that people waive the DOD payment to get VA payment if that's the case I haven't been contacted to do so. Any advise or thoughts?

Mine was sent out on the 6th so I'm a week behind you. I'm ready to get this show on the road.

Any word on your EAS if so how long did it take ounce you excepted findings?

I saw your post and wondering if you have gotten your new EAS yet? Mine was just sent back to PEB after accepting my ratings.

It takes about 2 weeks ounce it's sent back to peb/hqmc TO GET YOUR eas RIGHT?

Has anyone given you a timeline on when your EAS will post.

I was I was told around 2 week till i get a new EAS. Ounce that happens it's 45 to 60 days out (EAS). I was also told that HQMC looks at you leave days and adds them to 30 days and that is your EAS.

Well I received my ratings permanent 50% DOD and 80% VA. So i will be retiring in the next couple months. I' m happy with it.
