So they shouldn’t withhold the entire amount? Just for what my referred conditions were? My shoulder was my referred condition and both VA and DOD rated it at 20% but even with that removed my VA was still at 100%.
@PERS-95 my ratings was 20% DOD AND 100% VA. I was told by my lawyer that at 20% my VA was at 100% and would not have to do recoupment. My MSC is telling me that I have to wait 21 months to receive my 100% VA disability. Any insight on this?
That’s quick. I know my admin is pretty much people who are like a year into the navy. So I don’t have much faith in them looking through message traffic
Honestly I considered it, but with the severance I’ll be at 100% VA. So I still keep my base access. The main difference that my lawyer told me is tricare. I’m to the point where I just want to move on.

Here’s hoping that the...
the way I was explained by my MSC was if my ratings still at 100% even with the 20% for referred conditions. You wouldn’t have to pay back the severance
Got my ratings today 20 DOD 100 VA. When I was looking it over they only sent me the VA for my referred conditions which was 20%. I’m going to have to wait and see if all my other service connected still reaches 100% so my severance doesn’t affect my VA monthly
I just talked to my PEBLO, he said my case was still in with QA and I should get findings soon. Anyone know how long that could take. I know my VA had been closed since 13APR
