VA reconsideration request. Asks the VA to revisit any of the ratings they give in the first proposal. I asked them to relook at my unfitting condition with evidence and citing the codes that were relevant and was increased 20% on the DoD side.

Just have your SEAM printout and check off every item on there. They’ll have you put it up on the counter in no particular order and remove them one by one. If you’re certain you’re missing something, eBay or local surplus stores are your friend.

15MAY- VARR submitted by PEBLO 18MAY- Recon letter received; up to 60% DoD. Did not expect that VARR to go through that quick.

14MAY- Proposed 199 arrived. 40% DoD/100% P&T VA. I'll be submitted a VARR due to some unchecked items on the DBQ.

Update: VA Website now shows claim closed on 12MAY.

No. The IDES claim is a one shot deal. After you're separated, you can add more claims.

Yes as of the 14th. Currently in the decision phase per a phone call yesterday.

Hopefully ratings in the next few days.. and from the forum, the PEB seems to be about a 2-3 week wait.
