Shelly the recarachterization we put in from my husbands 20% from meb back in 2005.timeline for that took 2 years.he got 30% now retirement.

Update.i got his corrected dd214,orders for retirement .took the to a retirement officer on base whom put everything into hrc i think its called.just wanted u to know he has been 100% p and t from va since 2008 put in recarachterization of meb in 2014 so it took to years to give a retirement...

ok are you having a rating re characterized from an actual discharge from years ago?If so my husband was re characterized at 30% this march 2016 from 10% 2005.The whole paperwork took 2 years.decided march 2016

called DMDC they are already in Deers from the Va rating,called finance and deers they both said they are not showing anything yet.it could take months we do not have.

My husband is 100% va and just got rated 30% from dod medical retirement.I wonder how long it will take for the dod to put in the paperwork for tricare my son needs surgery asap.

yes just awarded 30% dod now waiting on them to send info to finance,tricare etc.

I really need some answers here. Regarding a final rating of 30% from DOD.My son needs surgery and he is about to get off champva. How long after the rating will it take to get tricare for him.Worried :(
