Ive been awaiting MEB for iver 4 yeara

Im an ART in the reserves full time, no pay no points military pay. I just do civ equivalent of my job, im on my 2nd extension awaiting MEB Results

Ry hank you. Found out yesterday it will and can t awwwwwwke 3 years for va to start recoupment of sep pay when i got out of active duty. I called DFAS and she says well we dont go back past 5 years! I was going to request a product to see what sep pay i received mind you over 20 years ago...

What would te jag.be able t do.for me.looks like unless i just.get out ill have to pay it back

Did not mean any disrespect I just was paid back va pay four months ago if I had known about the repayment of sep pay I would have sent to back to va, instead I paid off so.e debt

So getting severance is better than a retirement? I'm 90%ca with 70%PTSD . so I dont feel I should have to pay my sep pay I got in 98. But i was told if i got severance pay va would recoup that before I could get va pay. Glad it worked for you I guess I'll know more once MEB is done over 3...
