Well that's a fine how do you do. I logged onto ebenefits this morning and see that my case was went from Preparation for Decision (07/19/2013) and has jumped back to Gathering of Evidence (11/01/2013) and under Items, it has Central Texas VAMC
WTF???? November 1st was also when I hit 120 days
It is quite possible that the VA found an error in your packet and is being sent back to the PEB and quite possibly back to the MEB for correction. If I remember correctly your packet will not reset on the 120 days and they will continue as they had it the entire time.

Surprising info :), I have ignored my E-Bennies for about 2 weeks, and this morning I just checked and I had a status change, it went from gathering evidence, evidence requested is past due to "Pending Decision Approval" Gathering Evidence Requested is Past Due. So hopefully hearing something soon?

Signed up last week to have a POA from the Seattle Regional DAV. My rep sent an email to the VA and heard back Friday that my file was in the wrong place and that the "Coach(?)" was working to get it to the right place and they should be looking at it then. I asked if this means the 131 days it's "been at the VA" was void or had to start over since it was at the wrong place, but she said it shouldn't affect that. Makes me nervous. I know I probably have til December before I really start to get antsy, but I'm still getting a bad feeling about the "file in the wrong place" thing. Anyone had that happen?

I am at Fort Bragg, and Although I know I have been found unfit as of 20Sep2013, I did not receive any memo or did mt peblo inform me. I found out through other channels. I have noticed some get the memo and some don't is this all on the Peblo or does it matter what branch and where your stationed at?

It's up to your PEBLO whether or not they inform you of being unfit

Ok, I have a dumb question. How do you do an IRIS Inquiry?

Indeed, it's not a dumb question as such try the following URL:

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

Best Wishes!

Thanks! I will try that!

You are welcome, indeed! :)

Got a further update, my E-Bennies went back to Review of Evidence. So I called the VA, had to call three times to get through, they are always busy, but glad I kept calling, because I was concerned about how it changed to pending decision back to review of evidence. The guy told me that my proposed ratings were completed and mailed, and takes about 7-10 days. So hopefully should hear something soon from my PEBLO that the PEB office has my VA ratings and should hope they don't take too long :).

That is great news! Hope you receive the ratings you are hoping for!

I am keeping my fingers crossed and am hoping to hear of it soon. Feeling extra blessed today!

To that extent, hopefully you should have your IPEB findings soon.

And the claim is closed onto the CRSC hopefully that will go fast!

Indeed, I see congratulations are in order for the recent receipt of your DoVA final ratings; correct? :)

Hmm, that's interesting that your PEBLO didn't inform you of the PEB's unfit determination of your DoD IDES case; it seems that he/she is not much of a PEBLO indeed!

To that extent, have you directly asked your PEBLO for a copy of the PEB unfit memorandum?

If not, may be you should make that inquiry for a copy of the PEB unfit memorandum if it's a concern? As such, provide a little motivation and make your PEBLO do their job? ;)

Unfortunately, not to me or have I heard of such a thing albeit it certainly seems feasible unfortunately.

I hope you have better luck with IRIS inquiry than I have. I made an inquiry through IRIS on 22 Oct 13. When you make an inquiry you will receive an email saying your inquiry was accepted and if you have anything to add to reply to the email. I replied to the email on Friday of last week because it had been 10 days since my initial inquiry and I had not gotten a response and here we are the 5th of November and I still haven't received another email, a call, or a letter reponding to my request.

When I sent the IRIS inquiry the confirmation email I received said, "Because of the backlog created by the shutdown there will be a delay in response. We send our apologies for the inconvenience."

Yup finalized at 100% Gotta wait for the paperwork so i can fill out the crsc request properly!

So I'm pretty sure the IDES dashboard is pure torture. I called the VA and they said my proposed ratings were done. Then I call my PEBLO and she says her system says they are NOT complete. I'm only on day 91 of waiting but I hate being told two different things. Shame...Shame...Shame on them haha.
