Sad but true my CSM is all over me and talks down to me as if I pissed hot for crack. Being a senior NCO I thought that I would be treated better, for the O side yes NCO side is kick rocks and how can I be a ass. Disappointed in the CSM on how he is. Dude told me that if I had respect for myself I would due my time so I can respect myself. Few months later my combat medic from my 4th tour hung himself and all he told me was that dude was a pussy!! I love that kid its sad. This process needs to end so I can bounce.

not to take up for him but most CSM are stuck in the old strict army mentality and their perception of the IDES MEB/PEB is a PUSSY way for SM's to medically leave the military before his/her was contracted to, when in reality thats not the case but hey what can you do

I agree with you how he is a stright robot. He loved me knowing I just got a fresh pre-Ranfer school for
Hawaii, and willing to go but the MED board was started not by me. Knowing that I seen more combat than him as a sniper and the hot locations that I was at. #1 road to Baghdad, #2 ramadi 05-06 late in both years look it up if not familiar. Running hella sniper missions with the seals. With great people like;
Chris Kyle
Marc Lee

Michael
A.Monsoor

B. Leif Babin

It's us crazy right now as I put there names in the collar of the font grew big and black and I couldn't stop it.

My CSM is being a ass and I know it cause I put leave in yesterday and he told me that he is going to tell the LTC to not approve it cause everyone is going to be in field earning their pay checks. Also his daughter is getting surgery and he will be in the field cause its his duty and job to earn a check. I am sorry but my family is first when I leave the army my SSN will leave and a new one will fill that slot but the family and true friends will be there. Last block leave I had I was doing my QTC appointments so I couldn't take it. Me and my wife are suffering her in NTC. I tried to talk to him but he informed me that it was a A B conversation and I'm B so I can't talk??? The LTC is straight and I think ill be good but CSM informed me that his word carries weight. The approving authority goes off of facts and assumptions and not on being a hater.

I am super done with everything don't want a medal or cash just my DD214. Even though they want me to help them for a aam or arcom when I have 6 of each and a BSM-V with more BSM's.

When I was with my boss MAJ F after I told him they were going to med board me CSM told me that I should just do my time with pride as a man?

Wow I feel better sorry for getting off topic.

Respect All,
Richard Guynes

Outstanding; a great news update indeed! :)

No worries, at least for me; it's been an honor to provide assistance of any format! ;)

To that extent, enjoy your well-deserved backpay earnings and you are welcome! :D

Thus, I quite often comment that "possessing well-informed knowledge is truly a powerful equalizer."

Best Wishes!

Congrats! Yes, since you retired in June, because the VA pay 1 month behind for the previous month, you only had 2 months of July and August. September payment should be the full amount, which you should receive on 1 OCT.

Well, you are taking much better than I ever would. I would have been up to the Division EO office after the first conversation. Let alone filing a grievance against his ass. Just for those comments alone that jackass does not need to be in command of anything but wiping his own ass...

So 120 once seattle receives the case file? Or 120 days total for the med board process.

I am at 111 total days.
44 day after the VA in Seattle started in my case.

I don't know if I can do 76 days here.

It's 120 days for final ratings, you are waiting on the proposed ratings which take about 90 or so days, depending on how complicated the injuries are.

When I contacted the DAV in Seattle the told me average 45-90 days for ratings. I would like to think I will start clearing next month.
I don't believe my case is complicated 1 unfit PTSD and 20 other conditions, for wear and tear as a infantry man with 4 combat tours. Seattle DAV told me that they do have all needed information to process my case when the get to it and that they do 300-400 a day.
Thanks
Richard

JUL 24, 2013 - eBenefits Gathering Evidence completed
SEP 3, 2013 - eBenefits Prep for Decision Completed
4 SEP 2013 - Pending Decision Approval
7 SEP 2013 - Complete "Your claim is complete. A letter will be sent to you via U.S. mail formally documenting the completion of your claim. Please allow standard delivery time prior to contacting the VA call center."

155 days from when packet was submitted to VA from PEB.

Had a meeting with my PEBLO on 11 Sep about completed packet from VA, she told me that she expected to hear something by end of the week (13 Sep) for my 199, but nothing. Have been calling everyday to see what is going on with my packet, and still getting run around of this and that. I asked if it was even back at PEB for 199, and told me (actually her assistant told me, since she won't get on the phone with me) that still no word. Called today and was told it could take up to 45 days to get 199 from PEB. WTF?!? Feel like I saw light at end of tunnel and then it was snuffed out. GRRR Giving them 1 more day and calling her supervisor. Has anyone had any experience with 199 taking 45 days? My separation date says 7 October, but once again I was told that was a "guideline".

Well with 20 other claims, your case is complcated... LOL. Hang in there it should be done fairly soon!

I know you are right hurry up and wait. I know I'm not the first infantryman with PTSD and back, knees, shoulder problems. You would think they would have a chart and just bang out work. Feel like this is the longest DMV line in the world.

Ok here is the problem, it takes up to 30 days for the PEB to "receive" your packet, even though they get it the day the VA sends it to them. The "receive" your packet means that a PEBLO opened and read the ratings. It can take them up to 2 weeks to send it to the 199 writer, who then can take up to 30 days to "receive" it. Then they have 10 business days to write up the 199, they then send it back to the PEBLO. The PEBLO then has to review the 199 to ensure that it is to standard. They then will call you to come in and review it.

The timelines given by the MEB program are not a regulation or a written rule. No one in the system is held accountable for failing to do something on time.

It is at the bro, it is at that....

I just picture that scene at the end of Beetlejuice every time someone posts their timelines...
